Arsenal, Man United and more unite in response to Paris attacks

Premier League clubs use their social media accounts to send messages of support after the Paris terrorist attacks

Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are among the Premier League football clubs to use social media to post messages of support after the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night.

France has declared a national state of emergency and tightened its borders after a deadly night of gun and bomb attacks in the capital in which at least 120 people have died.

There were a number of explosions near the Stade De France as France played Germany in their football friendly.

At least 80 people were reported killed after gunmen burst into the Bataclan concert hall and took hostages before security forces stormed the centre.

People were also shot dead at restaurants and bars at five other sites in Paris, with eight attackers are reported killed following what were the deadliest attacks in Europe since the 2004 Madrid bombings.

The news of the horrific attacks inevitably prompted an outpouring of support on social media, and here are some of the updates from the top-flight clubs.
