Arsenal star delivers fresh positive injury update

Jack Wilshere delivers the latest news on his recovery as he bids to return to action for Arsenal

Jack Wilshere has revealed that he is hoping to be back in action for Arsenal very soon as the midfielder continues his recovery from a broken leg.

The England international has not featured for the north London club so far this term after suffering a hairline fracture of his leg towards the end of the Gunners’ pre-season preparations.

Wilshere is expected to make his return to the Arsenal team in the new year as he bids to force his way back into Arsene Wenger’s first team and stake his claim for a spot in the England squad for next summers European championships in France.

Now, the midfielder has revealed that his recovery is going well, and that he is confident of being back in action in the coming weeks.

Ashed if he would be back soon, Wilshere told Fox Soccer: “I hope so but I’ve said before in a previous interview that I’ve been in this position before where I’m feeling good, I’m back on the pitch, I’m doing a bit of running and all of a sudden something goes wrong so I don’t want to say I’ll be in a month or I’ll be back at Christmas.

“I’ll be back when I’m back when I feel ready but at the minute it’s going good.”
