Arturo Vidal has warned Arsenal that they are set to come up against the “real Bayern Munich” in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Gunners head to Germany looking to build on their 2-0 win over the Bundesliga side at Emirates Stadium last month and secure a result to keep their hopes of reaching the knockout phase of Europe’s elite club competition alive.

Arsene Wenger’s men warmed up for their trip to Germany with a 3-0 win over Swansea City in the Premier League on Saturday, a result which kept them second in the table and level on points with leaders Manchester City.

Bayern, meanwhile, were held to a goalless draw by Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Friday night.

However, Vidal is confident that Bayern will be able to gain revenge for their loss in north London and beat Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Vidal told Bild: “We’ll show Arsenal the real Bayern on Wednesday.

“Our confidence is high. This time we’ll take our chances and take the three points.”
