Bastian Schweinsteiger has issued a late Manchester United rallying cry ahead of Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash.

The Red Devils have made the trip to King Power Stadium to face surprise leaders Leicester City in Saturday’s late kick-off.

United can hoist themselves above Claudio Ranieri’s side and into top spot with a third successive Premier League victory.

However, Louis van Gaal’s men have only managed to score a disappointing six goals in their last eight games in all competitions.

But Schweinsteiger seems to be in a positive mood ahead of kick-off after he took to his Instagram page to post the above snap.

Schweinsteiger wrote: “Top clash this afternoon. Let’s go, @manchesterunited! #mufc”

The Red Devils failed to book their place in the Champions League knockout phase mid-week after a disappointing goalless draw with PSV Eindhoven at Old Trafford.

United, who finished fourth in Louis van Gaal’s first season in charge, were beaten 5-3 by Leicester City in the same fixture last season.
