Benteke, Mignolet and more: Liverpool stars take to Instagram after Bordeaux win

Christian Benteke and Simon Mignolet take to Twitter after Liverpool's 2-1 win against Bordeaux

Liverpool qualified for the knockout phase of the Europa League thanks to Christian Benteke’s winner in a 2-1 victory over Bordeaux.

The hosts fell behind in the first half after Simon Mignolet’s error led to Henri Saivet’s opener at Anfield on Thursday night.

However, Liverpool captain James Milner levelled from the penalty spot before Benteke netted a stylish strike on the stroke of half-time.

The Reds just need a point from the final group-stage game against Sion on 10 December to secure top spot ahead of the Swiss side.

The match-winner was pleased that Liverpool were able to achieve their two objectives for the evening after his 45th-minute winner:

3points✔️ Qualified ✔️ now focus on Sunday!!
