Cesc Fabregas has rubbished talk of a feud with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

The Blues midfielder was reported to be leading a revolt against the outspoken Chelsea boss last month following the defending Premier League champions’s poor start to the season.

However, Fabregas, who moved to Stamford Bridge in a £27m deal from Barcelona in 2014, was quick to quash the media reports and reiterate his commitment to Mourinho.

And the Spain international urged the Blue squad to stay united as the west London side look to get out of their Premier League rut ahead of the visit of Norwich City on Saturday.

“With Mourinho [it’s] fine, fine,” Fabregas told Sky Sports.

“Obviously when you don’t win people say things, and when you win, everything is phenomenal. When you don’t win, everything is tougher, but we have to be united and strong with the fans and the boss.

“That’s the only thing that can take us forward. Nobody is going to help us. In the Champions League we can hurt the big teams, but in the Premier League we have to wake up now. Right now.”

Fabregas joined Chelsea in a £27m deal from La Liga giants Barcelona in 2014.

The Spain international has been unable to help Chelsea prevent their slide down the Premier League table this season.
