Chelsea star Oscar: Everyone is trying to help Jose Mourinho
Chelsea forward Oscar admits the Blues need to start winning games
Oscar has insisted that everyone is behind Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.
The defending Premier League champions suffered a sixth defeat of the season on Saturday after a 3-1 loss to Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
On Sunday, a report in the media quoted an unnamed Chelsea first-team player as saying that he would rather lose than win for Mourinho.
But Oscar has contradicted the reported after he told Chelsea’s website that everyone is doing their utmost to help the under-pressure Blues manager.
“Everybody tries to help [Mourinho] but the situation is not good for Jose and for the players and the fans but for Chelsea, we need to start winning again,” Oscar told Chelsea’s website.
“It is very disappointing because we played so well in the first half but at the end of it, Coutinho scored but we tried, we came back for the second half and we played well again but we had a lot of bad luck. They scored two and it was a difficult game for us.”
Chelsea are in 15th place and just four points clear of the relegation zone after their humiliating defeat by Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.
Blues midfielder Ramires gave the hosts a seventh-minute lead at The Bridge before Philippe Coutinho equalised before half-time.
