Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson take to Instagram after their respective Liverpool comebacks

Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson were thrilled to make their respective returns from injury as Liverpool eased to a 1-0 win against Swansea City on Sunday.

James Milner has captained Liverpool in Henderson’s absence, and the midfielder edged the home side into a 1-0 lead from the penalty spot after Neil Taylor was adjudged to have handled Jordon Ibe’s cross.

Henderson hasn’t featured for the Reds since a 1-0 win against Bournemouth in the second games of the season, but the Reds skipper replaced Roberto Firmino in the second half.

Sturridge’s pain threshold was called into question earlier this week after he suffered a fresh injury, but the striker replaced Christian Benteke in the final 10 minutes.

The former Chelsea and Manchester City striker was thrilled to make his return to the Liverpool side alongside Henderson:

Nice to be part of the team victory and see my boy @jhenderson back too. 👌🏾

Henderson, who was appointed as Liverpool captain following Steven Gerrard’s exit in the summer, was delighted to help see the Reds to victory:

Great to be back on the pitch! And most importantly get the 3 points. 😁👊🏻
