Gary Lineker has taken to social media to pay tribute to Tottenham Hotspur for their recent impressive form as they sealed a 4-1 win over West Ham United at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have not been beaten in the English top flight since the opening day of the season and were in control against the Hammers at White Hart Lane thanks to two goals from Harry Kane and one from Toby Alderweireld.

Kyle Walker then made it 4-0, before Manuel Lanzini pulled one back for the Hammers late on.

The victory moved Spurs to within just four points of surprise Premier League leaders Leicester City after 13 games of the new season.

And former Spurs man Lineker has been thoroughly impressed by what he has seen from the north London side on Sunday afternoon.

Next up for Spurs is a Europa League clash against Qarabag on Thursday night, before a crunch clash against Chelsea next weekend at White Hart Lane.
