Gary Neville reacts on Twitter to James Wilson’s Man United loan move

Gary Neville says that Louis van Gaal has made a wise decision in sending Manchester United starlet James Wilson out on loan

Gary Neville has taken to social media to back Louis van Gaal’s decision to send Manchester United youngster James Wilson out on loan to Brighton and Hove Albion for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old has made just two first-team appearances for the Red Devils this season and Van Gaal felt that it was important the striker was afforded a run of regular playing time.

News of Wilson’s move away from Old Trafford on a temporary basis sparked mixed reactions from United fans in the wake of their goalless draw with PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

However, former United defender Neville feels that Van Gaal has made the right decision in giving Wilson the chance to gain the playing time he needs to continue to develop his game.

The ex-England international responded to news of the deal with a series of tweets about the teenager’s loan move.

Neville tweeted on Friday morning:

United take on Premier League leaders Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.
