Harry Kane runs rule over Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane heaps praise on Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris
Harry Kane has heaped praise on Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Hugo Lloris ahead of England v France.
The Spurs striker will be tasked with beating the France goalkeeper in Tuesday night’s friend at Wembley.
Lloris has helped Tottenham remain unbeaten since returning to the side after he missed the 1-0 defeat by Manchester United on the opening day of the season.
The 27-year-old shot stopper has conceded just nine goals in 11 Premier League games this season, including four clean sheets.
And Kane, who has scored five times in his last three games in all competitions, is relishing the challenge of beating his talented team-mate at Wembley tomorrow night.
“Hugo is a top player and we get on well at Spurs,” Kane told Daily Mirror.
“It will be interesting to play against him. We train with each other, so we know each other’s game. I’ll be trying to score against him. That will be great and it will be good to play against him.”
The striker netted the opening goal as Spurs drew 1-1 with local rivals Arsenal at Emirates Stadium before the international break.
Tottenham return to Premier League action with a home clash against West Ham United at White Hart Lane after the international break on Sunday 22 November.
