Harry Kane felt Tottenham Hotspur lacked energy after a demanding week in Sunday’s goalless draw with Chelsea.

Heung min-son and Mousa Demebele forced saves from Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic at White Hart Lane, whilst Kane was limited to long-range attempts in the derby.

At the other end, Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris made a smart save to deny Chelsea forward Eden Hazard in the second half in north London.

Spurs have played three games in the past seven days after a 4-1 win against West Ham United was followed by a 1-0 victory over Qarabag in Azerbaijan on Thursday night.

And Kane conceded that Mauricio Pochettino’s side were lacking energy on Sunday afternoon.

Kane’s recent goal-scoring run came to an end against the defending Premier League champions as Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma marshalled the Spurs man.
