Harry Redknapp: Why Chelsea have great chance of top-four finish

Harry Redknapp talks up Chelsea's top-four chances after their goalless draw with Tottenham

Harry Redknapp believes Chelsea are still capable of finishing in the Premier League’s top four this season.

The Blues moved to within 11 points of fourth-placed Arsenal after a hard-fought 0-0 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s London derby at White Hart Lane.

The defending Premier League champions have endured a miserable start to the defence of their crown after securing 15 points from a possible 42 after 14 games.

However, former Tottenham manager Redknapp believes if Liverpool are considered as top-four contenders, then Chelsea must be considered in the race for the Champions League spots, too.

Ex-QPR boss Redknapp told BT Sport: “When you talk about the league, Liverpool are on 20 points. Would you say Liverpool can make the top four?

“Chelsea are on 15 points which isn’t a million miles of difference. They still have a great chance.”

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard had the best chance at The Lane after the Belgium international’s volley required a smart save from Hugo Lloris.
