Jamie Carragher trolls Mesut Ozil after Arsenal’s draw with Tottenham
Jamie Carragher was not impressed by Mesut Ozil's performance against Tottenham on Sunday...
Jamie Carragher accused Mesut Ozil of “doing nothing all day” despite setting up Arsenal’s equaliser in their 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Sunday.
The Germany playmaker notched up his 11th assist of the season against Arsenal’s bitter rivals when his lofted pass was bundled into the next by Hugo Lloris at Emirates Stadium in the 77th minute.
The equaliser came after Harry Kane had given Spurs the lead with a cool finish past Petr Cech in the 32nd minute in north London.
In setting up Gibbs’ goal, Ozil set a new Premier League record of becoming the first player to notch up assists in six consecutive games.
However, Liverpool legend Carragher was clearly not impressed by Ozil’s overall display.
Carragher tweeted on Sunday evening:
@Carra23 Open your eyes. Created 7/9 of our chances. Don't you get paid to spot this?

The result left Arsenal level on points with Manchester City – who drew 0-0 at Aston Villa on Sunday – at the top of the Premier League table heading into the final international break of 2015.
