John Barnes is backing Arsenal to return to winning ways in the Premier League with a convincing 3-1 victory at Norwich City on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners head into the game looking to bounce back from the disappointment of their 2-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion last weekend as they squandered their chance to move to the top of the table.

Arsene Wenger’s men responded to the defeat at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night with a convincing 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League at Emirates Stadium.

A win for the Gunners at Carrow Road would place them level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City at the top of the table as the hectic festive schedule looms large.

And Barnes is fully expecting the north London side to coast to victory on Sunday.

Barnes wrote in his blog for “Arsenal will need to bounce back from their defeat by West Brom, and I think they’ll do it in style with a 3-1 victory over Norwich.

“Olivier Giroud will be back on the scoresheet, while Nathan Redmond will be Norwich’s only scorer.”
