Luke Shaw sends message to Man United supporter

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw takes time to congratulate fan on Twitter quiz triumph

Luke Shaw has been feeling the love from his own and rival supporters this week.

The travelling PSV Eindhoven fans unfurled a giant banner wishing the England left-back a speedy recovery from his broken leg.

The 20-year-old full-back suffered the horror injury during United’s 2-1 loss to PSV in their Champions League group-stage opener in September.

Not to be outdone by the Dutch, United gave their own supporters the chance to impress Shaw with their knowledge on the former Southampton defender.

The United star wasted no time congratulating the quiz’s winner on Twitter after an impressive 100 per cent record.

The Red Devils played out a disappointing goalless draw with PSV in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
