Man United legend names Premier League’s most underrated goalkeeper
Former Man United defender Phil Neville believes Newcastle shot stopper Tim Krul is underrated
Phil Neville says Newcastle United shot stopper Tim Krul is the most underrated goalkeeper in the Premier League.
The Magpies goalkeeper has already conceded 22 goals in 12 Premier League games this season – only Chelsea, Norwich City, Bournemouth, Sunderland and Aston Villa have conceded more.
Netherlands international Krul has managed to keep three clean sheets in the English top-flight this season against Manchester United, Stoke City and Bournemouth.
Former Everton and United defender Neville singled out the 27-year-old shot stopper for special praise.

The Dutch goalkeeper moved to the Magpies from Eredivise club ADO Den Haag in the summer of 2005.
Krul established himself as Newcastle’s number one in 2010/11 and 2011/12 campaigns.
The former Carlisle United shot stopper has made 185 appearances for the Magpies over the past seven seasons.
Krul helped Louis van Gaal’s Netherlands side to finish in third place in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
