Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu reveals his affection for Manchester United

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has lifted the lid on his affection for Manchester United.

The Udinese defensive midfielder has impressed in the Serie A this season after having scored three times in 12 top-flight appearances in Italy this season.

Louis van Gaal has invested heavily in his midfield since he took over the reins at Old Trafford in 2014, and he signed Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin in the summer transfer window.

Ghana international Agyemang-Badu has spoken of his love for English football and particularly, United ahead of the next transfer window in January.

“The Premier League? I love England and I love English football,” Agyemang-Badu told Tutto Mercato Web.

“I am a fan of Manchester United.”

Agyemang-Badu has scored nine goals in 119 Serie A appearances for Udinese since he joined the Italian club in 2010.

The twenty-four-year-old has also netted 10 times in 62 caps for the Ghana national team.

The Red Devils are in second place in the Premier League table following Saturday afternoon’s 2-1 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road.
