Michael Owen makes prediction about Arsenal v Tottenham

Michael Owen is expecting a draw between Tottenham and Arsenal at The Emirates on Sunday

Michael Owen is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to take a draw from their north London derby clash with Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners head into the game looking to return to winning ways after the humiliation of their 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek.

Spurs, meanwhile, are looking to build on their 2-1 win over Anderlecht in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Arsenal are currently second in the table and level on points with leaders Manchester City after 11 game of the new campaign, while Tottenham are fifth and five points off the top.

And former England international Owen feels that the points will be shared on Sunday afternoon as Mauricio Pochettino’s men look to gain revenge for their League Cup exit at the hands of the Gunners in September.

Owen wrote on BetVictor.com: “The Gunners have to put behind their heavy Champions’ League defeat in Munich in what promises to be an absorbing north London derby.

“Spurs are unbeaten since the opening day of the season when they were, arguably, unlucky to come away from Old Trafford with a point. I expect them to get a draw on Sunday.”

Arsenal were 3-0 winners at Swansea City last weekend as they continued their good form in the league.
