Michael Owen reacts on Twitter to Man United’s 0-0 draw with PSV Eindhoven

Michael Owen criticised Manchester United for their negative approach after the Red Devils were held to a goalless draw by PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils dominated possession at Old Trafford but failed to regularly threaten the visitors’ goal as they endured a frustrating night in front of their home fans.
Jesse Lingard fired United’s best chance of the game over the bar, while Morgan Schneiderlin saw his close-range effort saved.
However, former Liverpool striker Owen feels that the Red Devils were made to pay for their negative approach to the game.
Owen wrote on Twitter: “United frustrating again tonight. Full backs that hardly join in, two sitting midfielders that don’t offer anything going forward. Far too negative.”
United will qualify for the last 16 if they beat group leaders Wolfsburg in their final game in Germany on 8 December.
Louis van Gaal’s men return to Premier League action with a trip to leaders Leicester City on Saturday evening and head into the game knowing that a win would move them top of the top-flight table.
