Michael Owen reacts to Arsenal victory on Twitter

Michael Owen gives his thoughts on Twitter after Arsenal's 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night

Michael Owen has warned Arsenal that they still have a “mountain to climb” if they want to secure qualification for the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Gunners secured an impressive 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night to keep alive their hopes of progressing to the knockout phase of Europe’s elite club competition.

Mesut Ozil opened the scoring in north London, before two goals from Alexis Sanchez wrapped up victory for Arsene Wenger’s men.

The result means that the Gunners head to Olympiacos in two weeks’ time knowing that a victory will send them through to the last 16 in second place in their group behind Bayern Munich.

And although former Liverpool striker Owen was impressed by Arsenal’s performance, he feels that they still face an uphill task in trying to qualify.

Owen tweeted on Tuesday night:

Arsenal return to Premier League action with a trip to Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
