Michael Owen is backing Arsenal to come through a difficult game and claim victory at Norwich City on Sunday.

The Gunners head to Carrow Road to face the Canaries looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League after the disappointment of their 2-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

Arsenal also suffered a significant injury setback at The Hawthorns as Francis Coquelin picked up a knee injury that is set to rule him out of action for at least 12 weeks.

However, Arsene Wenger’s men did return to winning ways on Tuesday night as they sealed a 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb at Emirates Stadium to keep their Champions League hopes alive.

And although Owen is expecting the Gunners to be made to work hard for the three points on Sunday, he is tipping the north Londoners to claim victory against the Canaries.

Owen wrote in his column for Colossusbets.com: “Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from last week’s defeat, but they won’t find it easy against a Norwich side that have got their act together defensively since a 6-2 drubbing at Newcastle.

“They have only conceded five goals in as many games since, going down 2-1 and 1-0 at City and Chelsea respectively.

“But it could be another defeat at the hands of a top side, and I take Arsenal to win 2-0 or 2-1.”

Arsenal are currently fourth in the table and two points behind leaders Leicester City.
