Milos Raonic has taken to social media to confirm his split with coach Ivan Ljubicic.

The Canadian 24-year-old announced on Thursday that he has parted ways with coach Ljubicic, who he has worked with for just over two years.

In a post on Instagram this weekend, Raonic wrote: “I have learned many important lessons throughout this year, many of which I am sure will assist me in achieving my goals.

“I have plenty of challenges ahead and hard work that I look forward to thriving in.

“I believe I can make big strides (in 2016) towards my goals and to the ambitions I would like to fulfil.

“I can’t wait to be back competing.”

There was no mention by Raonic of who will replace Ljubicic moving forwards.
