Mourinho delivers latest Chelsea injury news ahead of Stoke clash
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho runs the rule over the Blues's injury concerns ahead of Stoke City clash
Jose Mourinho has confirmed Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic is available for their clash against Stoke City at The Britannia on Saturday.
The Serbia defender hasn’t featured for the west London side since the right-back picked up an injury during international duty last month.
However, Mourinho revealed the experienced 31-year-old full-back is back in Chelsea’s match-day squad as the Blues look to end a two-game losing run in the Premier League.
“Ivanovic is good,” Mourinho told his pre-match media conference.
Mourinho added that on-loan Colombia striker Radamel Falcao will be sidelined for three weeks with a muscle injury.
Mourinho continued: “Falcao is injured and he will be for a few weeks.”
Chelsea have already conceded 22 goals in 11 Premier League games this season.
The Blues manager confirmed that Courtois is still recovering from an injury as Asmir Begovic continues to deputise in the Chelsea goal.
Mourinho added: “Courtois is still out.”
Chelsea have already lost six times in 11 Premier League games after a run of three defeats in their last four top-flight games.
