Elliot Bennett has apologised for his push on crocked Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez during Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Carrow Road.

The Norwich City defender pushed Sanchez into an unsuspecting cameraman in the first half of the stalemate much to the irk of Arsenal supporters.

Unsurprisingly, outspoken Gooner Piers Morgan slammed the Canaries man as a “halfwait” after the incident, although Sanchez emerged unscathed.

Sanchez was later replaced after the Chile international tweaked his hamstring midway through the second half.

Bennett sent a message to Morgan following the draw in response to the Good Morning host’s scathing tweet.

And the pair appeared to put their differences to one side after Morgan reacted in a positive manner to Bennett’s initial tweet.

Arsenal are a point behind leaders Manchester City and Leicester City ahead of their next Premier League game against Sunderland at The Emirates on Saturday.
