Petr Cech reacts on Twitter to Arsenal’s 1-1 draw at Norwich City

Petr Cech looks for the positives after Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Norwich City on Sunday afternoon

Petr Cech has taken to social media to thank the travelling Arsenal fans for their support after their 1-1 draw with Norwich City on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal looked to be heading towards a victory at Carrow Road when Mesut Ozil’s neat chipped finish put the visitors ahead in the 30th minute against the Canaries.

However, the home side battled back and drew level two minutes before half-time when Lewis Grabban held off the challenge of Gabriel Paulista to fire past Petr Cech.

Matters worsened for Arsenal when Alexis Sanchez was forced off with a suspected hamstring injury midway through the second half.

The result left Arsene Wenger’s men in fourth place in the Premier League table and three points behind leaders Manchester City as the hectic festive period looms large.

However, Cech appeared to be looking for the positives after Sunday’s stalemate.

The goalkeeper tweeted:

Arsenal return to action with a home clash against Sunderland next weekend.
