Petr Cech says the Arsenal squad’s work ethic is the key behind their unbeaten Premier League run.

Arsene Wenger’s side are unbeaten in their last six top-flight games after a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s north London derby at The Emirates.

The Gunners haven’t suffered a defeat since a 2-0 loss to defending Premier League champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 19 September.

Wenger’s men are level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City ahead of their trip to West Bromwich Albion on 21 November.

And Cech, who moved to Arsenal in an £11m deal from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, revealed the Gunners are focused on working hard.

Cech told Arsenal’s website: “It’s [down to] the work ethic of the team.

“You never win things without going for it, without being focused, without being right in the training ground. I have to say that the team are focused on what we are doing every day and I have to say that this is the key.”

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were the better side at The Emirates as England international Harry Kane gave the visitors a 32nd-minute lead.

However, Arsenal substitute Kieran Gibbs levelled the north London derby with 13 minutes remaining thanks to a close-range finish.
