Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is keeping himself relaxed as he closes in on a return from injury for Arsenal

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looked relaxed as he watched some television with his pet dog on Thursday evening, with the midfielder closing in on a comeback for Arsenal.

The England international has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury during the first half of Arsenal’s 3-0 League Cup defeat by Sheffield Wednesday last month.

Arsene Wenger revealed on Thursday that Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott are all closing in on returns from injury, although the trio will not be ready for Saturday’s trip to West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.

However, Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to be keeping his spirits up by enjoying some downtime at home as he continues to work on his fitness levels.

The midfielder shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Thursday night without a caption.
