Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is ready to bounce back from Bayern Munich humiliation in north London derby

Alexis Sanchez has issued a rallying cry ahead of Arsenal’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates on Sunday.

The Gunners suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat by Bundesliga holders Bayern Munich in the Champions League at Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

Arsene Wenger’s side have been in impressive form in recent weeks after a run of five straight victories in the Premier League.

And Sanchez, who hasn’t scored since a 3-0 victory over Watford on 17 October, took to his Instagram page to send a pensive message to Arsenal ahead of the north London derby.

Sanchez wrote on the photo-sharing app: “In life you win and you lose etc….but life still goes on and you do your best…But the positive person is the one who falls, gets up, shakes it off, patches themselves up and smiles at life and says ‘Here I go again’.”

Arsenal have won their last five Premier League games thanks to victories over Leicester City, Manchester United, Watford, Everton and Swansea City.

Tottenham are unbeaten in 10 Premier League outings since a 1-0 defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford on the opening day of the Premier League season.
