Alexis Sanchez takes to social media after the Arsenal forward's injury setback against Norwich City

Alexis Sanchez took to social media to wish Arsenal fans a good night after the forward suffered a hamstring injury during the 1-1 draw at Norwich City on Sunday afternoon.

The Chile international was forced off after an hour at Carrow Road after pulling up while chasing the ball.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed the injury blow after Sunday’s draw, saying that the Gunners would wait to assess the extent of the problem in the coming days.

And the 26-year-old posted the picture above of himself with his two dogs on his personal Instagram account on Sunday night, along with a host of emoticons.

Sanchez shared the snap above and wrote: “Buenas noches good night

Sanchez was in fine form at Carrow Road and set up Mesut Ozil’s opener with a superb through-ball.

Sunday’s result left Arsenal in fourth place in the table but just two points behind joint Premier League leaders Manchester City and Leicester.
