Bastian Schweinsteiger is looking forward for Manchester United's clash with Watford on Saturday

Bastian Schweinsteiger is clearly excited about the return of the Premier League as Manchester United prepare for Saturday’s clash with Watford at Vicarage Road.

The Red Devils take on the Hornets at Vicarage Road looking to build on their 2-0 win over West Brom at Old Trafford after the international break.

Louis van Gaal’s head into Saturday’s clash looking to keep pace with Premier League leaders and bitter local rivals Manchester City, who they currently trail by two points.

And Schweinsteiger used his personal Instagram account to express his excitement ahead of the return of the Premier League.

The World Cup winner shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Today we will face Watford, a promoted team that has been playing a good season so far. Let’s go red devils! #mufc”

Schweinsteiger has been a regular fixture in the Red Devils’ first team since joining the club from Bayern Munich in the summer.

He has made 12 Premier League appearances for United but is yet to score in the top flight for his new club.
