Bastian Schweinsteiger is ready for Manchester United's clash against PSV
Bastian Schweinsteiger appears to be relishing the prospect of Manchester United’s Champions League clash on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils host Eredivisie holders PSV Eindhoven in their penultimate group-stage game, with a place in the knockout phase up for grabs.
Louis van Gaal’s side were 2-1 winners against Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League in Saturday’s early kick-off.
Schweinsteiger forced a late Troy Deeney own goal to see three points for the 20-time English champions and leave United a point behind leaders Leicester.
And the Germany international was clearly still buoyed by the Red Devils’s last-gasp win as he took to Instagram on Sunday night.
Schweinsteiger posted the above snap and wrote: “All eyes on our next challenge on Wednesday! #UCL #mufc”
Van Gaal’s men are top of Champions League Group B and a point ahead of Wednesday night’s opponents PSV.
Schweinsteiger has made 18 appearances in all competitions since his £6.7m summer move from Bayern Munich.
