Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to issue a rallying cry ahead of Manchester United’s Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils head into the game looking to return to winning ways after their goalless draw with Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the weekend.

That result left United in fourth place in the table and four points behind leaders Manchester City.

And Schweinsteiger is calling for Manchester United’s home fans to get fully behind them as they prepare for Tuesday’s European clash at Old Trafford.

Schweinsteiger posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Ready to get back on track with the support of our fans! #mufc #UCL”

The 1-1 draw between the sides in Moscow last month means they are tied on four points in Group B, two points behind leaders Wolfsburg.

United are still seeking a first home win against Russian opposition, following three draws ahead of Tuesday’s clash.
