Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger wants Red Devils to build on victory over West Brom

Bastian Schweinsteiger has urged Manchester United to build on their 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Louis van Gaal’s side scored their first goal in two Premier League games in the 52nd minute thanks to Jesse Lingard’s first Red Devils goal.

United had failed to win their last two Premier League outings but Juan Mata sealed three points from the penalty spot on the stroke of full-time after Anthony Martial was fouled by Gareth McAuley.

Germany international Schweinsteiger didn’t waste any time taking to Twitter to reflect on United’s comfortable win against Tony Pulis’s men.

Schweinsteiger lasted the full 90 minutes of United’s 2-0 victory as the World Cup winner partnered Michael Carrick in midfield.

The Red Devils stay in fourth place but move to within a point of leaders Manchester City in the Premier League table.
