Liverpool striker Christian Benteke reflects on 'life in red' ahead of Sunday's clash against Crystal Palace

Christian Benteke appears to be loving life as a Liverpool player ahead of their clash against Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds striker scored in a 3-1 victory over defending Premier League champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the top flight last weekend.

Benteke has scored four times in six Premier League games for the Merseyside outfit since his £32.5m move to Liverpool from Aston Villa in the summer.

And the Belgium international posted the above snap on his Instagram page as Benteke geared up for the visit of Palace on Merseyside later this weekend.

Benteke wrote on the photo-sharing app: “Life in red 🔴”

The 24-year-old striker became Liverpool’s second most-expensive signing of all-time in the summer behind England international Andy Carroll.

Benteke scored his first Liverpool goal in a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth before he netted in a 3-1 defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford.
