Christian Eriksen sent a message to Tottenham Hotspur supporters after the Danish midfielder made his 100th Spurs appearance in Sunday’s goalless draw with Chelsea.

The 23-year-old playmaker started the derby clash but Eriksen was unable to inspire Mauricio Pochettino’s side to victory over their bitter rivals.

Eriksen has enjoyed a solid season so far, scoring two goals and making five assists in 11 Premier League games for the north London outfit.

And the Spurs playmaker, who moved to Tottenham for Eredivisie side Ajax in a £10m deal in 2013, was delighted to reach a landmark on Sunday afternoon.

Eriksen kept his Instagram caption short and sweet as he uploaded the picture above and wrote: “#Eriksen100 #thankyouCOYS”

The Danish midfielder has scored 25 times in 100 games for the north London club since his move to the Premier League outfit.

Eriksen will be hoping to inspire Spurs to victory over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League at The Hawthorns next Saturday.
