Chelsea skipper John Terry leads his team-mates in a two-minute silence out of respect for fallen soldiers on 11/11
John Terry has led his Chelsea team-mates in two minutes of silence to remember Britain’s fallen soldiers ahead of Blues training on Wednesday morning.
The former England captain appeared in a particularly pensive mood as he stood alongside France international Loic Remy and some younger members of Jose Mourinho’s squad.
Terry has been facing a battle to save his Chelsea career this season after his tough start to the season has mirrored the west London side’s Premier League struggles.
Terry wrote on his Instagram page: “Today and Everyday we Remember. Lest We Forget #2minutesilence”
The Chelsea skipper has made nine Premier League appearances this season, but has failed to prevent the Blues from conceding 23 goals already this term.
Terry has also made two appearances in the Champions League, as well as playing their two League Cup games before losing to Stoke City on penalties.
The Blues host Norwich City in their next Premier League game at Stamford Bridge on 21 November.
