Jordan Henderson lets the pictures say everything in his latest Instagram post
Jordan Henderson was lost for words after the Liverpool captain reacted on social media to their 4-1 win at Manchester City on Saturday night.
The injured Liverpool skipper wasn’t available to help his team-mates at The Etihad, although the 25-year-old wasn’t missed as the Reds produced an impressive away performance.
Martin Tyler famously uttered “Let the pictures tell you everything” as the Sky Sports commentator reacted to Steven Gerrard’s brilliant goal against Olympiakos in the Champions League in 2005.
And Henderson used a variation of that phrase as he took to Instagram to post a snap of the Liverpool squad celebrating one of their four goals at The Etihad.
Henderson wrote: “No caption needed! ”
Liverpool are six points behind fourth-placed Arsenal after the Gunners suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat by West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns earlier on Saturday.
The Reds are unbeaten on the road in the Premier League under Klopp after a stalemate with Tottenham Hotspur was followed by victories over Chelsea and Manchester City.
