Mamadou Sakho posed for a selfie with Jordon Ibe after the Liverpool winger fired the Reds to a 1-0 victory at Rubin Kazan with his first goal for the club.

The Reds headed into the Europa League group-stage clash looking to build on their 3-1 win over Chelsea in the Premier League last weekend and the visitors dominated possession throughout the encounter in Russia.

The winner came when Ibe fired home from 20 yards in the 52nd minute to hand the Merseyside outfit a victory which moved them second in their group.

And both Sakho and Ibe looked in good spirits as Jurgen Klopp’s men headed back to England on Thursday night.

Sakho posted the picture above of the duo on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Come back to Liverpool after a good victory tonight 👌🏿 #YNWA #Liverpool @liverpoolfc”
