Jordon Ibe was lost for words after the Liverpool forward scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over Rubin Kazan on Thursday night.

The 19-year-old’s first goal for the Reds in his 30th appearance sealed a close-fought win in Russia and ended a run of three successive stalemates in the Europa League.

Liverpool’s first win of the campaign leaves the Reds on six points in Group B, where Jurgen Klopp’s side trail leaders Sion by two points ahead of their clash against Bordeaux on 26 November.

And Ibe, who was making just his second start under new manager Klopp, was left speechless on Instagram as he posted the above snap from Thursday’s Europa League clash.

Ibe wrote on the photo-sharing app: “Words can’t explain.. #LFC”

The former Borussia Dortmund manager secured his first Premier League win as Liverpool boss after a 3-1 victory over defending champions Chelsea on Saturday.

Liverpool can make it back-to-back top-flight wins and four successive victories in all competitions if the Reds beat Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday.
