Victor Valdes’s wife was in a romantic mood on Tuesday as she posted a selfie with the Manchester United goalkeeper amid reports of a move to Liverpool.

The Spain international has been out-of-favour at Old Trafford since the start of the season after the experience shot stopper fell out with United manager Louis van Gaal.

Valdes has already been linked with a free transfer to Steve McClaren’s Newcastle United in January, although Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is also reported to be interested.

The 33-year-old’s wife Yolanda Cardona posted an amorous snap of the pair on Tuesday morning as she started her love for Valdes, with the goalkeeper not receiving a lot of affection at Old Trafford.

She wrote on her Instagram page: “I want my love ! ❤️ @ vicvaldes1 💋☀️ Happy Tuesday !!”

The three-time Champions League winner has made just two appearances in the Premier League since the goalkeeper’s move to United last January.
