Juan Mata couldn’t hide his delight to be back amongst his Spain team-mates on Monday evening.

The Red Devils winger has been included in Vicente del Bosque’s 23-man squad for their upcoming games against England and Belgium this week.

Mata has played a key part in United’s good start to the Premier League season and the Spanish playmaker scored a penalty in a 2-0 win against West Bromwich Albion.

The 26-year-old was all smiles as he trained with his compatriots at Spain first-team training on Tuesday evening.

Mata wrote on his Instagram page: “Always happy to be with @sefutbol! #Spain”

Mata scored a 90th-minute penalty after Jesse Lingard gave United a slender lead against the Baggies at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The former Chelsea midfielder has scored four goals and has made three assists in 11 Premier League games this term.
