Juan Mata posted a snap of Madrid after the Manchester United midfielder returned to his native Spain.

The Red Devils winger has been included in Vicente del Bosque’s 23-man squad for their upcoming games against England and Belgium this week.

Mata has played a key part in United’s good start to the Premier League season and the Spanish playmaker scored a penalty in a 2-0 win against West Bromwich Albion.

And the 26-year-old posted the above seasonal snap of the Spanish capital ahead of the visit of Roy Hodgson’s England side on Friday night.

Mata wrote on his Instagram page: “Madrid.”

Mata scored a 90th-minute penalty after Jesse Lingard gave United a slender lead against the Baggies at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The former Chelsea midfielder has scored four goals and has made three assists in 11 Premier League games this term.
