Marouane Fellaini has plenty of time to respond to fan mail as the Manchester United midfielder recovers from injury.

The Belgium international wasn’t part of the Red Devils squad for their 2-1 victory over Watford in the Premier League in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Fellaini missed the game despite manager Louis van Gaal bizarrely confirming he had recovered from an injury that forced him to withdraw from the Belgium squad before the international break.

And the towering ex-Everton man, who turned 28 on Sunday, uploaded a snap of the Belgian tackling his fan mail on Monday afternoon.

Fellaini has started one game in the Premier League this season, although he has made a further five appearances from the bench.

The former Toffees star has played two games in the League Cup before United lost to Middlesbrough on penalties.
