Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is missing his girlfriend

Javier Hernandez dedicated an Instagram post to his girlfriend on Sunday night.

The former Manchester United striker has moved around a lot in the past 12 months after loan spells at Real Madrid before he joined Bayer Leverkusen on a permanent deal in the summer.

The Mexico international has already made quite the impression at the Bundesliga side after being deemed surplus to requirements by Louis van Gaal.

Hernandez is dating Spanish TV reporter Lucia Villalon, who was previously linked to Hernandez’s former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

And the on-loan United striker posted the above snap and wrote the following message on photo-sharing app Instagram:

Hernandez has scored four times in nine Bundesliga appearances for Leverkusen already this season.

The 27-year-old has also netted four goals in four Champions League for the German outfit.

Hernandez completed a move to United in 2010 after he earmarked by Sir Alex Ferguson before the 2010 World Cup.

The Mexico striker scored 59 times in 157 appearances in all competitions for United.
