Victor Valdes does not appear to be very happy...

Victor Valdes has taken to social media to send a message to Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal following the goalkeeper’s lack of playing time in recent months.

The Red Devils goalkeeper has not featured for Van Gaal’s side this season since falling out of favour towards the end of the last campaign.

And the Spaniard is clearly frustrated at his current predicament, if his latest post on Instagram is anything to go by.

Valdes shared the photo above on Wednesday afternoon, featuring the message: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

The former Barcelona star then added in the caption: “To not let down those that want to see me play again is my motivation.

“I fight to be free and to enjoy my profession.”

Valdes started just one first-team game for the Red Devils last season as Van Gaal’s men finished fourth in the Premier League table.

He is yet to feature this term and has been linked with a possible transfer to Liverpool and Chelsea in recent weeks.
