Michael Carrick and Ashley Young may not be the most glamorous Manchester United squad members, but the Red Devils duo looked sharp for Sunday’s Unicef event.

The England internationals both started United’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City in the Premier League at King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.

However, Carrick and Young were unable to inspire the visitors to a victory, although they were spared the humiliation of an early bath unlike their captain and compatriot Wayne Rooney.

Carrick and Young looked in good spirits as the pair posed for a snap ahead of United’s Unicef dinner on Sunday night.

Young posted the above photo and wrote: “At Old Trafford for the #UNITED4UNICEF dinner. Looking forward to a great evening”

Young has made one assist in 10 Premier League games for Louis van Gaal’s side this season.

Carrick, 34, has made 11 appearances in the top flight as the England midfielder continues to vie with Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin for a starting spot.
