Stan Wawrinka reveals his secret to beating Rafael Nadal at the Paris Masters on Friday...

Stan Wawrinka has taken to social media to reveal his nutrition secret after battling past Rafael Nadal to reach the semi-finals of the Paris Masters.

The Swiss sealed a 7-6 7-6 win over the Spaniard to set up a last-four meeting with Novak Djokovic in the French capital.

And the 30-year-old revealed that a court-side cup of coffee helped him to summon the energy to beat Nadal and progress to the last four.

Wawrinka posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Saturday morning and wrote: “Sometimes all you need is a little bit of coffee !! ⏰☕️ #Paris #semi #Coffee”

Andy Murray – who beat Richard Gasquet – will play David Ferrer in the other semi-final after the Spaniard came through a three-set encounter against John Isner on Friday 6-3, 6-7(6), 6-2.

Djokovic, meanwhile, beat Tomas Berdych in straight sets, 7-6 7-6.
