Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli says he is thrilled to receive another England call-up
Dele Alli say he is honoured to receive another England call-up.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been included in Roy Hodgson’s England squad after he continued his impressive form for the north London club.
Alli made his England debut against Estonia in Euro 2016 qualifying last month before he came on as a late substitute against Lithuania a few days later.
The Tottenham starlet took to Instagram to reflect on the news that he has made Hodgson’s 23-man squad for England’s games against Spain and France.
Alli wrote on the photo-sharing app: “Honoured to be called up for @england again! #COYS💙”
The Spurs youngster played 77 minutes of the north London side’s 2-1 victory over Anderlecht in the Europa League at White Hart Lane on Thursday night.
Alli has scored two goals in 10 Premier League games, netting against Aston Villa and Leicester City.
The 19-year-old moved to Tottenham in a £5m deal from MK Donds in February before he was loaned back to the League One side.
