Erik Lamela has taken to social media to urge his Argentina team-mates to victory as they prepare to take on Brazil on Friday.

Lamela has joined up with his international colleagues after the 23-year-old played 75 minutes of Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal in Sunday’s north London derby at Emirates Stadium.

The playmaker has been a regular fixture in the Tottenham first team this season and has made 11 Premier League appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, scoring two goals and notching up three assists.

And Lamela looked to be thrilled to be on international duty as Argentina began their preparations for Friday’s showdown with Brazil.

Lamela shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Yesterday in the training session with the national team!! Come on argentina !! 👊👊 #argentina #seleccion #eliminatorias”

Lamela will be hoping to feature when Tottenham return to Premier League action with a home clash against West Ham United after the international break on Sunday 22 November. Spurs are currently fifth in the top-flight table.
